We were delighted to welcome our Club President, Christine Janes, to Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club on the morning of Wednesday 25th June, during the Lexus British Tour Tennis Event 2025.
Christine, a former British No.1 and Wimbledon semi-finalist, spent time at the club soaking in the atmosphere as top-level players competed in this national event. Her visit was a great honour and added a touch of prestige to what has been a fantastic week of tennis at FLTC.
During her visit, Christine met with Head Coach Matt Hough, Club Chairman Paul Franklin, Vice Chairman Peter Hicks, and Club Secretary Stephanie Cliff. The group enjoyed a tour of the club, discussions about the club’s thriving tennis programmes, and the opportunity to watch some excellent British Tour matches in progress.
