History of Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club

Established in 1884, our tennis club proudly stands as one of the United Kingdom’s oldest. Throughout our history, we’ve had the privilege of hosting prestigious events, including The GB Davis Cup Ties in 1954.

Our courts have been graced by numerous past and present professional players, such as the legendary Fred Perry, Tim Henman, and Dan Evans.

Notably, in 2021, we welcomed the rising star Emma Raducanu, who reached the Quarter Finals of Wimbledon and went on to claim victory at the US Open the same year, solidifying our club’s enduring legacy in the world of tennis.
