This week sees the start of the 10th Felixstowe ITF Masters Tournament. The tournament runs from Wednesday 19th June to Sunday 23rd June. We have a good number of entries across all age groups so there will be lots of great tennis played during the Tournament. Play on the first day starts at 1pm and at 11am all other days. There will be hot and cold food and drinks available during the day. It would be great to see some of our members as spectators.
This Thursday 20th is our next Music Night. We have the return of Annika Rands following a very successful evening last year. There is an England match starting at 5pm and this will be on in the bar. We are also putting on a BBQ with Sausages, Burgers and non-meat options available. Live music will start at around 7:15pm so why not make an evening of it. The bar will be open from 5pm.
Following the completion of the ITF Master on Sunday we go straight into the British Tour (formally called The East of England). This tournament starts on Monday 24th June and runs until Friday 28th June. Again, we will have hot and cold food and drinks available during the day. Play is scheduled to start at 11am each day. Come and see some of the UK’s up and coming players. Remember in 2021 we had a young girl called Emma play and win our tournament, we all know what happened after that. You never know who might be taking part in this year’s tournament.
