Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to supporting tennis within the local community by donating unused tennis nets to the Old Felixstowe Community Association Tennis Club.
The nets were officially presented by Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club Vice Chairman, Peter Hicks, to members of the Old Felixstowe Community Association Tennis Club. The donation will help enhance the existing nets and support the continued growth of tennis participation in the area.
As one of the leading tennis clubs in the region, Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club is proud to work alongside local organisations to encourage people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the sport. By sharing equipment that is no longer required by the club, valuable resources can continue to benefit the wider tennis community.
Peter Hicks said: “We are delighted to be able to support the Old Felixstowe Community Association Tennis Club with this donation. Tennis clubs thrive when communities work together, and we hope the net will be put to good use for many years to come.”
The donation reflects Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club’s dedication not only to its own members but also to fostering strong community partnerships and helping local tennis flourish across Felixstowe.
We wish the Old Felixstowe Community Association Tennis Club every success and look forward to continuing to work together to promote tennis in our community.
