As the warmer weather (we hope!) approaches, it’s time to prepare for the opening of the grass courts at our esteemed lawn tennis club. We’re thrilled to announce that Grass Courts 5 through 9 will be officially open for bookings starting this Sunday, May 5th 2024. This marks the beginning of a season hopefully filled with team matches, friendly competitions, coaching and many members making use of the the lush greenery of our courts.
To kick off the Grass Court season in style, we’re hosting a Grass Court Opening Tournament on Sunday, May 12th 2024 for members. Whether you’re a experienced player or just starting out, this friendly social event is the perfect opportunity to come and play lots of tennis and meet lots of different members.
Following the tournament, all courts will be available for booking, ensuring that everyone has the chance to experience playing on our grass courts. From May 12th 2024 onwards, you can look forward to playing on all our grass courts – lets hope for a good summer weather wise!
So get ready to enjoy lots of summer tennis at our Felixstowe Lawn Tennis Club. Whether you’re playing a friendly match with friends or competing in a tournament, there’s no better place to play in our area.
